What CERQ-1 Is

CERQ-1 is not a training course and not a beginner certificate. It is an evaluative qualification designed to confirm that a participant can operate safely, independently, and professionally in advanced technical environments.

Completion of CERQ-1 strengthens consideration for:

• IncomiQ Internship Program
• Paid IncomiQ staff roles
• Advanced project-based contract work

Completion does not guarantee placement or employment.

Technical Scope

Task sets are custom-assigned per participant and may evaluate one or more of the following:

• C++ systems development
• C# tooling and analysis
• PHP backend logic and secure handling
• Assembly (ASM) fundamentals
• Static and dynamic reverse engineering
• Ring 0 / kernel-mode understanding

Not all participants receive the same tasks. This prevents task sharing and preserves certificate integrity.

Lab & Safety Requirements

All work must be performed inside isolated virtual machines only. No live systems, third-party infrastructure, or unauthorized software may be targeted.

• Host-only or internal VM networking
• Authorized targets only
• Snapshots before and after testing
• Strict scope enforcement

Unsafe, unethical, or out-of-scope activity results in automatic failure.

Deliverables & Evaluation

Participants must submit a complete package, which may include:

• Source code and compiled outputs (where applicable)
• Clear written technical documentation
• A recorded walkthrough explaining execution and decisions

CERQ-1 is evaluated on a pass/fail basis.
